Rosanna
Rosanna María Salcedo is an educator, artist, and coach. A first-generation Latina, born and raised in Washington Heights, New York City, she has spent most of her adult life living and working as an educator in New England. In her personal and professional life, Rosanna is inspired to help others reach their highest potential. She believes this is possible if one approaches living life as a journey of self-discovery and growth, with humility and an openness to change.

THE
Educator
For the past 20 years Rosanna has worked in both public and private schools, as a teacher and administrator committed to creating healthy and inclusive communities where all students can thrive socially, emotionally, and academically. Her childhood experiences attending schools and growing up in an immigrant community inspired a passion for education and social justice that continues today. After receiving her bachelor's degree in Psychology from Amherst College, she decided to attend the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where her identity as an educator began to crystalize. She is currently the Dean of Equity and Inclusion at the Cambridge School of Weston, in Weston, Massachusetts.

THE
Artist
She is a visual artist, writer, and storyteller, whose artistic expression is a reflection of her journey as a woman, daughter of Dominican immigrants, educator, and as a mother. Her art is a meditative process inspired by the people and events in her life, as well as by stories, myths and symbols. She has written a number of personal essays about her experiences as a first-generation American, and is currently working on an intergenerational memoir that explores the relationship between her grandmother, mother, and herself. She has performed for the World Channel's, Stories From the Stage, and enjoys telling stories about her own educational journey and how it has shaped her as a human being.

THE
Coach
So often sharing our experiences and expertise can have a significant impact on others. Rosanna is moved by the idea that she can offer something that will make a difference in someone’s life. She uses her twenty plus years of teaching and leadership experience to help others grow and achieve their goals. It may take the form of coaching, a consultation, or a guided experience.
