THE STORY

To connect clients with talented freelancers, Userworkplace created a web app to manage leads, contacts, payments, bids and manage a team by virtualizing different tools into one comprehensive system. Userworkplace put plenty of Velo’s APIs into action, such as Wix Data and Wix Users. They added functions from the wix-users API to register new users and log in existing ones.

One of the most impressive features of Userworkplace is their custom-built dashboards for their users. Wix Data was a crucial piece because it allowed them to query data collections and populate the dashboard with user-specific information. To complete the experience, Userworkplace integrated with the Sendgrid API using wix-fetch and customized their email flows to their needs. They also created a custom messaging app using Wix Data and Users APIs.

Userworkplace also acts as a platform where users can withdraw and deposit to balance payments. They created a whole bidding and payment system for freelancers to get leads with their own currency called Paynecs. Using Velo’s APIs, they were able to create a really cohesive system that gives their clients everything they need to find, hire, work with and even pay freelancers.
